Day 1 Arrive in Beijing Sincere greetings & airport-hotel transfer.
When you arrive in Beijing, your guide will greet you and take you to your hotel where you will have time to relax and settle down.

Day 2 Beijing Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace. (B)
Today' s tour will first bring you to Tiananmen Square and then to the Forbidden City, the largest and most intact group of ancient structures in the Imperial Palace. After a few hours at the Forbidden City, you will eat lunch and then head to the Summer Palace, the resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. For dinner, you will eat Beijing' s famous Peking duck and then head back to your hotel.

Day 3 Beijing Great Wall, Ming Tombs. (B)
Today' s trip will be the amazing Great Wall of China, the only man-made structure on Earth that can be observed from the moon. After hiking for a few hours, you will have lunch and then visit the Ming Tombs, the burial site for 13 of the Ming emperors. At night you will watch an acrobatic show and then return to your hotel.

Day 4 Beijing / Lhasa Airport-hotel transfer,acclimatization. (B)
Today you will leave Beijing for Lhasa, Tibet. When you arrive in Lhasa you will be met by your guide and drive to the hotel to check-in. The first day in Lhasa there will be hardly any activities planned due to the change in oxygen levels. You are suggested to do as little as possible to give your bodies' time to adjust to the thin air. Dinner will be held at the local restaurant in the city.

Day 5 Lhasa Sightseeing Norbulingka,Sera Monastery, Potala Palace. (B)
The day begins with a tour of the Dalai Lamas' Summer Palace, Norbulingka and the exciting sutra-debating in the Sera Monastery. Next you will visit the world famous Potala Palace. Dinner will be served for you at the hotel.

Day 6 Lhasa Sightseeing Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Tibetan Museum, Tibetan Carpet Factory, Tibetan Traditional Hospital. (B)
Today you will visit the Jokhang Temple, the most sacred place for Tibetan Pilgrims. Around the temple is Barkhor Street, a place where you can bargain for souvenirs. After lunch, you will go to the Tibetan Museum. If you would like, we can also arrange a tour to the workshop of the Lhasa Carpet Factory for a visit of making traditional Tibetan carpets and also the Tibetan Traditional Hospital. Tonight' s dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 7 Lhasa / Shigatse Tashilhunpo Monastery. (B)
This morning you will be driven to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. On the way you will enjoy the beautiful view of Yaluzhangbu River. After your arrival, you will visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery, one of the six largest in Tibet. Afterwards you will be driven back to your hotel for rest.

Day 8 Shigatse / Lhasa New Palace of Panchen. (B)
This morning you visit the New Palace of Panchen, built in 1447 by the Panchen Lama. Then you will be driven back to Lhasa there you will spend a night in your hotel.

Day 9 Lhasa / Shanghai Airport-hotel transfer. (B)
Your final excursion in Tibet will be a visit to a Tibetan's family home for breakfast in the morning. Afterwards, you will be brought to the airport and board your plane for Shanghai. Upon landing in Shanghai, you will be picked up by your guide and brought to your hotel.

Day 10 Shanghai Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden, Temple of City Patron. (B)
Today you will take a tour of China's largest city, which is also China's principal port located on the Yangtze River Delta. You'll visit the Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden, and the well-known Temple of City Patron. After that you will be brought to your hotel for rest.

Day 11 Depart from Shanghai Drive to the airport & See you off. (B)
